The Hotel Maroseyka 2/15 invites you to spend time in a creative atmosphere in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. Where there is the exhibition “Afishemaniya”, which will last until the 21 st of April. You will learn about the history of French illustrated advertising, walk through the exhibition, which contains 130 posters, you will also learn about the birth and evolution of the poster as an art form.

Through this collection, you can trace the history of art of an entire era in France – Belle Époque (“Beautiful Era”, the last decades of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century). This billboard reflects the main events of the era, points out the nature of various political parties, serves as a mouthpiece for the ideas of socialists and anarchists, and demonstrates the achievements of science and technology. It expanded the cultural environment by turning streets of European cities in the exhibition halls.
