On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the great Russian writer, after a large-scale restoration, the Museum Center “Dostoevsky’s Moscow House” was opened at 2 Dostoevsky Street in the building of the former Mariinsky Hospital for the Poor.
Memorial rooms on the first floor are open for visitors, a historical and literary exposition and installations dedicated to the personality of Dostoevsky and the main events of his life have been created.
Authentic items include a pre-sofa oval table, a bookcase, portraits of parents and ancestors, and bronze candelabra.
Hotel “Maroseika 2/15” reminds that a visit to the museum is possible only upon presentation of an identity document and a QR code confirming the fact of vaccination against a new coronavirus infection or a previous COVID disease.
