Until May 10, 2023, the Tretyakov Gallery is running the exhibition “The Grand Duchy. Treasures of the Vladimir-Suzdal Land”, dedicated to the millennium of the first written mention of Suzdal, which will be celebrated in 2024.

About 600 exhibits are presented, including rare items dating back to the 9th-10th centuries – the unique Golden Gates of the Suzdal Mother of God-Nativity Cathedral, a copy of the icon of the Mother of God of Vladimir attributed to Andrei Rublev, the first illustrated Primer (1694), a bell cast in XVI century and many others.
