Handel at the Bolshoi!

One of the main events of the Moscow theatrical summer will be the premiere of the baroque opera “Ariodant” staged American director David Aiden.

The opera was written in two and a half months in 1734, the plot was the famous poem by Ludoviko Ariosto “Furious Roland.”

The plot of the opera is simple – preparations for the wedding, parting, the intrigues of suffering and a happy ending – the reunion of lovers!

Opera in three acts, performed in Italian with Russian subtitles.
