The State Hermitage brought an exhibition from its funds – “Court costume of the mid-XIX – early XX centuries.”
The exposition is dedicated to the ceremonial and everyday life of the Russian Court – one of the most magnificent royal courts in Europe. It includes clothes and personal belongings of Russian emperors and empresses, members of the imperial family, representatives of aristocratic families.
Also presented are works of painting and graphics, archival documents, weapons samples, precious metal products.
The exhibition runs through July 16, 2021 in the building of the Museum of the Patriotic War of 1812 (pl. Revolution, d. 2/3).
