From the windows of our hotel “Maroseyka 2/15” you can see a cozy Ilyinsky square connecting four exits of “Kitay-gorod” metro station.
Take a pleasant walk from the Plevnenskaya chapel, a monument to grenadiers that took part in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878, to the monument to Slavic Enlighteners Kirill and Methodius by sculptor V.M. Klykov.
The square is also nice in the evening due to the comfortable lighting of the pedestrian paths!
