The Maroseyka 2/15 Hotel invites you to a live broadcast of the opera Prince Igor from the Paris Opera House Opéra Bastille on December 17 at 21:15.
The opera is based on the source – the work “The Song of Igor’s Campaign”, which tells about the battle of Prince Igor and the Polovtsy, about his responsibility to his people.
To get as close as possible to the spirit of the original source, the composer of the opera visited the city of Putivl, where the main actions of the work took place. And the director left all the main storylines, focusing on the personal experiences of the characters, and removed the folklore elements.
The broadcast of the opera will take place in the Karo 7 Atrium on a large screen in Russian with English subtitles.
