We are glad to inform you that one of the favorite cinemas “Artistic”, which has been closed in Moscow from 2014 for reconstruction, will resume work on April 9th!

Restorers and builders recreated the historical appearance of the building according to the drawings of Fyodor Shekhtel and archival photographs.

The inscriptions “Entrance” and “Exit” returned to their former places, as well as the sign “Art Electro-Theater.” Laid window openings, historical lanterns are open, and a fountain has been launched in the lobby of the building.

Now you can watch films in four halls – large for 474 seats, in two small 46 seats and in one chamber, designed for 21 spectators.

The opening film selected Florian Zeller’s film “Father” (starring Anthony Hopkins), which received six Oscar nominations, and on April 10 will be shown “Battleship Potemkin” by Sergei Eisenstein with footage previously cut by censorship.
