The Maroseyka 2/15 invites you to visit the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin. The Tatu exhibition project dedicated to the art of tattooing has opened here. The exhibition has about 200 works telling about the stages of tattoo development in different regions of the world.
You will hear about the 3000-year history of tattoos and learn about the variety of its forms and functions, its transformations under the influence of various circumstances, and the significance of tattoos in modern culture.
Archaeological finds suggest that the custom of tattooing is rooted in antiquity. Ancient Egyptian civilization is one of the earliest examples.
