In the lobby of the Radisson Collection Hotel at Kutuzovsky Prospect, 2/1, building 1, there is a real rarity – a diorama of the Kremlin and the center of Moscow on a scale of 1:75 – you can see in detail what our capital was like forty years ago.

The layout “Moscow – the capital of the USSR” was made in the 1970s by a group of designers led by the artist Efim Deshalyt by order of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the National Exhibition of 1977 in New York.

The layout impresses with the elaboration of details, a high degree of accuracy and lighting design.

It will be interesting to look at the diorama for both adults and children: the building of the Rossiya Hotel has not yet been demolished, the night over the capital is replaced by day, in the evening beautiful lights turn on near the buildings…..

Entrance and audio guide accompanying the viewing are free.
